Many organisations have relied on expatriates for specialised roles, leaving leadership pipelines dominated by non-nationals. This historical model is no longer sustainable. Key Insights from Our Survey: 36% of professionals cited localisation as a key part of their organisation’s hiring strategy. 25% felt these policies were inconsistently applied. 13% said local hiring was given minimal priority. This data points to a disconnect between intent and execution, revealing the need for a more consistent, skills-based approach to localisation.
