Indian cities and institutions are putting their infra on Polygon to make impactful transformations of everything from education to forensics to civilian documentation.
This week during India Blockchain Week (IBW) Conference: 2-3 Dec 2025 we're taking a look at some of the highlights:
1. BBD University in Lucknow is leading by example. Marksheets, ID cards, skill badges, internships, and degrees are now onchain as instantly verifiable records. The results:
• Verification errors halved
• Storage costs dropping
• Fraudulent cases eradicated
2. Entire cities are moving citizen certificates onchain (think birth records, building permits, NOCs, and tax documents).
In Amravati, Solapur, and Kalyan-Dombivali, citizens get verification via Polygon in minutes, instead of months. Added benefit: government records become tamper proof and auditable.
3. Forensic labs in Maharashtra are using Polygon to handle evidence:
• Manual logs + paper trails moving to digital onchain fingerprints
• Chain of custody moving to transparency
• Handwritten logs moving to timestamps
• Integrity trail moving cryptographically verified
4. Festivals and conferences across India use Polygon to streamline verification and prevent forgery. It used to take weeks to print, stamp and distribute tickets.
Now participants get QR based checks in seconds, and the cost per certificate is eliminated.
We're proud to be strengthening institutional trust in India and building where it matters.
