  • Every year someone asks why we still need #InternationalWomensDay 🤔 Here is the answer 👇 Because the challenges have not disappeared. They have simply changed shape. Women still carry invisible workload (think: Mental Load, unpaid Carework etc.) They still get interrupted more (yup, there is data on that!) They are still underrepresented in leadership, especially in technical and male-dominated fields. And many spend years navigating expectations that were never designed with them in mind 😐 International Women’s Day is a moment to pause, reflect and take action with intention! For companies, #IWD it is the perfect opportunity to: • spotlight internal role models • strengthen belonging and psychological safety • invest in leadership and visibility skills • start conversations that continue beyond March If you want practical ideas for 2026, ask us for our free #Inspiration Kit for International Women’s Day on March 8th. Oh and don't forget to plan a the budget for next year - the time is now 🤫

  • Did you know? The 2026 #InternationalWomensDay motto is “Give to Gain” 🤫 Here is what it means for your company: When women support women, careers move faster. Cultures shift. Retention improves. And companies gain exactly what they say they want engaged, confident, ambitious talent 🙋♀️ “Give to Gain” is not a slogan. It is a leadership principle. When you create space for women to share knowledge, ask questions, speak openly and build trust, you gain something powerful in return: a workforce that lifts each other rather than competes in silence 🚀 Our signature workshop for #IWD in March does exactly this: It provides a safe, guided environment for women to collaborate, reconnect with their strengths, build real networks and rediscover the joy of supporting one another. 👉 If you want to explore what your organisation can do for 2026, DM us for our free #Inspiration Kit for International Women’s Day.

  • “If a woman wanders alone at night and feels safe, she is in the UAE.” — Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Today is #NationalDay in the UAE 🇦🇪 This here is one of the safest places to live. The sentence above captures this better than anything else. This is not just a quote. It is something you feel when you live here. Safety, respect, and a sense of possibility shape everyday life. It is why so many people, including ourselves at The Dede Company, choose the UAE as a home and a place to build a future. Happy National Day to everyone who contributes to this country’s spirit and progress ✨ #EidalEtihad

Stop asking: Should I quit? Start asking this instead 👇 “Should I quit?” is the question we hear most often in coaching and it’s usually not the right starting point. Why? It’s not the first thing to figure out! A better question is: Why does this question appear now? ✔️ Is it emotional? ✔️ Or rational? ✔️ Is something missing? ✔️ Or are you exhausted? ✔️ Are you growing? ✔️ Or staying because it’s familiar? When you understand the reason, you make better decisions. Most #job changes go wrong because they are made emotionally. Or made too rationally. But not made with both sides in the room. That’s why we created the “Should I change my job”-Quiz: A simple yes/no guide that helps you understand whether your heart and your head point in the same direction - or not. 👉 Download your free clarity guide here: https://lnkd.in/d3rYenPU

A client recently told me this story 👇 Do you recognize yourself in it? “Years ago, in my consulting career, I remember sitting in a meeting and suddenly thinking: “If I continue like this for another five years, will I still recognize myself?” Nothing dramatic had happened. No conflict. No crisis. 😮 Just a quiet realization that I was working hard in a direction that didn’t feel like mine anymore. I didn’t quit the next day. I didn’t even say it out loud. But that sentence stayed with me until I finally listened and went to see Kim as a coach. And this is what I learned: Most career changes start long before the actual decision. They start with a sentence, a thought, a subtle nudge.” If you’re feeling something similar - a voice in your head you can’t yet explain - give it space. You don’t need to rush. But you need clarity. 👉 That’s why we created a quick decision quiz to help you understand what’s happening: Whether it’s time to change your job, time to speak up or time to reconnect with your current role. Why Sunday evening tells you more than Monday morning ever will. ✔️ If you want to understand your relationship with your job, look at how you feel on Sunday evening. Not the stress. Not the to-do list. But the feeling in your body when the weekend is almost over. Do you feel calm? Or irritated? Heavy? Or neutral? A lot of #women ignore that moment, but it’s one of the clearest signals we get: It tells you whether your #job drains you or supports you 🤝 If Sunday evening feels uncomfortable lately, don’t panic and send out applications. 💟 Start with clarity! 💟 Our new Quiz helps you understand whether this is just a phase or whether something deeper is shifting! It’s a short decision maze that gives you one of five outcomes, from “time to go” to “stay and grow.” 👉 Get the “Should I change my job?” clarity guide in the comments below.

#PresentationSkills let’s come back to the insight from our first two posts: In presentation skills training, we always see that the HOW outweighs the WHAT. But in many environments - especially consulting, tech, engineering, or leadership roles - your “what” is extremely complex. Lots of details. High stakes. Limited time. So how do you deliver complex content in a way people actually understand? 👀 Here are five simple strategies: 1️⃣ Start with the headline. Give the audience the conclusion first, then explain the details. 2️⃣ Use a clear structure. Three parts, not ten. People need clarity. 3️⃣Reduce visual overload. One message per slide. Split between several bullet points. 4️⃣ Repeat intentionally. In complex topics, repetition is key. Say the main point at least three times. 5️⃣ Pause.Silence helps the brain process information. (So do filler words!) Great presentation require presentation skills; especially when the content is heavy. Reach out if you want to book an in-person training in Dubai, UAE or Europe.

You start a presentation and suddenly wonder: What should I do with my body? 👀 In our recent post about our presentation skills trainings, we talked about where to put our hands. But that’s not all! The thing is: When people look at us with expectations, we feel nervous. Nervousness creates emotion. And emotion is literally energy in motion; energy the body wants to release. So we move. We shift. Step. Wander. Pace. Often without noticing. It’s not a “bad habit”. It’s biology 🤫 Here are 3 ways to work with it: ▪️ Move before you go on stage. A short shake-off, a few jumps, a little dance behind the door. Let the energy out before you start! ▪️ Move intentionally on stage. You can walk. You can touch furniture. You can use gestures. ▪️ Just make it intentional, not nervously. Use breathing to calm your system. Slow breathing reduces the need for physical release and helps you stay grounded instead of pacing. When you realize you move, hold on, breath and continue speaking more slowly. If you master the HOW, the people will remember the WHAT. Reach out if you need support with public speaking 🤝

Presentations: Why the HOW matters more than the WHAT 😎 Studies show that 93 % of presentation success depends on how you deliver your message. Impressive right? …but how do we actually master the HOW? One of the most common questions in our recent presentation skills trainings was: “What do I do with my hands?” Here’s a step by step guide: ✔️Use the power zone: Keep your hands around navel height. Not in front of your chest. Not hanging below. Not in pockets (!!) ✔️ Gesture with them: Count, show, talk — then come back to calm. Move your hands when you speak. That’s good. But always return to a centred, calm posture. ✔️ Stand firmly. Both legs, stable base, relaxed shoulders. Want to move? Yes please! But intentionally. Small changes. Big difference in how your message comes across. Do you need your employees to convince clients in presentations? Book a presentation training in Dubai or a remote one with us at The Dede Company
