Lens database not working on Hugin for macOS?

Asked by Fotis

I'm trying to load lens profiles from the lensfun database (instead of my self-made .ini generated files) and assign them to my photos for better stitching but I can't seem to get it to work.
Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or there is some problem with my macOS build.

Process
1) Add Images to Hugin
2) Right click on one or more Images --> Lens --> Load Lens from Lens database.
3) The dialog that pops up, has an empty Lens combo-box but I can't click on it. I'd expect this to be populated with the Lensfun db entries.

I've tried also installing lensfun manually, and updating it via lensfun-update-data.

Hugin is not using the lensfun database.
It uses its own database. You can populate the database manually with save to database.
Also when you stitch a panorama, the information from this pano are automatically saved in the database.
