LET’S PLAY

Fantastic transport games

However you like to get about, hop onto our favourites.

From planes, trains and automobiles to the occasional bus or ship, whatever your transport of choice, we’ve got a game for it.

Just remember, you might have to build the network before enjoying the ride.

Mini Metro

If you’ve ever looked at a subway map and thought, “There’s got to be a better way to organise this,” now’s your chance.

As stations appear across a map, you draw lines to connect them and create your own passenger network. Simple, right? But throw in ever-greater numbers of passengers and a limited number of locomotives, carriages and river-crossing tunnels, and things can go off track pretty quickly.

Bus Simulator Lite

All aboard! Enjoy driving officially licensed busses in Bus Simulator Lite, the try-before-you-buy version of Bus Simulator. Unlock and then drive routes around a picturesque town, picking up passengers and making sure to obey the rules of the road.

Successfully completing routes nets you both cash and reputation, which can be spent unlocking new busses and routes to drive them on. Fancy springing for an articulated (aka bendy) bus? Go on, treat yourself!

Train Station 3

Like having a model railway in your pocket, in Train Station 3 you’ll complete deliveries to earn cash and resources, and plough these back into upgrading your facilities and trains to take on bigger and better jobs. Pretty soon you’ll be overseeing a veritable railway empire filled with gorgeous locomotives.

There’s a simple joy to be found in watching these trains at work, zipping through beautiful mid-century landscapes. If you’re ever in the mood to take a closer look, pop into your depot to take a 360-degree view of each of your locomotives and appreciate the craftsmanship that went into them.

World of Airports

Take on the role of an air traffic controller and airport manager in World of Airports. Find a slot on your runway for landings, get each plane to a stand and then juggle a finite amount of resources including crew and equipment as you get passengers off and on the craft, handle their luggage and make sure the cabin is cleaned for good measure.

Pull this off, and you’ll unlock rewards that you can use to upgrade your facilities and handle even more flights, but take too long and all you’ll be left with are angry customers. You can even buy planes, customise them with your own liveries and send and receive craft from other players’ airports.

Truck Simulator: Ultimate

Trucking is hardly the most exotic form of transportation, but there’s endless satisfaction to be found hauling tonnes of cargo across the highways of Truck Simulator: Ultimate.

So load up your trailer and be careful as you steer your lorry out onto the open road – you don’t want to damage your cargo and accrue any penalties.

Sea Port

This one’s all about growing your own watery trade empire; amassing resources, exploring unknown lands and discovering treasure!

It’s not all tugboats and shipping containers, though; with the option to build your own fleet of throwback sail boats, you can become the pirate-cum-entrepreneur you were always meant to be.
