What’s a castle without an impressive library, a beautiful music room, a grand dining room – oh yeah, and a zen garden?! As you decorate your palatial pad in Royal Match, we thought you’d be interested in some handy pointers to help you swipe with confidence. Try them out... King Robert will thank you for it.
Do the basics
This may seem like a silly first thing to bring up, but once you’re on a roll conquering levels, one of the easiest missteps you can make is forgetting to check what the mission is or how many turns you have on the board. Check your goal as you play to see whether you’re on track or not, and don’t forget to make periodic checks on the turns you have left during a round – there’s nothing worse than thinking you’re one turn away from clearing the board only to find that you’re out of goes.

Join a team
Don’t go it alone – joining a team means you can request extra lives and it’s a great place to discuss strategies, ask for tips on certain levels and discover new ways to play the game. Once you’re on a team you’re in it together, and the team leaderboard rewards all of you for conquering levels.
Don’t miss out on power-ups
Power-ups are incredibly useful and there are certain levels where they’ll come in handy for clearing a row or shuffling the decks. There are plenty of ways to get more of them: playing in events and challenges, clearing areas and getting the Royal Pass are sure-fire ways to ensure you’ve plenty of power-ups to match with ease.

Slow your roll
In Royal Match, it pays to slow down. Sometimes you’ll have thought of your next three moves, only to find that in your last swipe things have changed. Remember, there’s no time limit, so check the board and you might be able to unlock some powers to help you clear it faster. Slowing down also helps because you can only clear blocks that have rested in their final place.
Stay on a hot streak
The Butler’s gifts are unlocked when you beat multiple levels in a row, but sometimes you may hit a level that could end that streak. Try using a power-up or purchase an extension of five or more moves to keep the Butler’s gifts coming – they make it faster and easier to beat every new challenge, so sometimes it’s worth keeping the streak alive.
