I love this app! It’s so great to have one place to save all the recipes you find online. I used to have them all over the place (in safari bookmarks, Pinterest, notes, you name it), but with Spillt I can easily find and categorize everything in one place. I always have a hard tim deciding what to cook but this app has made it much easier to get over the “what do I want to eat” barrier because I can see recipes my friends have made or saved and use that as inspiration! The “search for ingredient” function is also STELLAR!! No more wondering “what can I make with 2 peppers and a pack of saffron”. I can’t wait to start cooking more and trying all the recipes I’ve saved!

This app completely streamlines the recipe saving experience. Spillt makes it incredibly quick and easy to store recipes in one place that I actually do it rather than adding yet another bookmark or screenshot to my “recipe book”. My favorite feature is the ability to rate and add comments to the recipes you save. Now I don’t have to remember that I had to add 5 minutes to the cook time, or that I added more cinnamon to dish. ALSO, your screen stays lit the entire time you are viewing a recipe so you don’t have to constantly tap your screen while your hands are covered in the cookie dough you are making. There are tons of other thoughtful features such as the ability to quickly see and save the ingredient list for a recipe and the “feed” to see what your friends are cooking.Just trust me - this is the solution to all of your recipe saving problems!!

This app is genius. The design is simple and beautiful and the function is great! Highlights: (1) it’s SO easy to save a recipe immediately if you like it, so no more endless online searching to find “the one we made and loved that time”; (2) paper saved by not printing the recipes I want to keep; (3) getting ideas from other people on the app about which recipes to make and tips on what to do/not; and (4) phone stays open with recipe showing while I’m cooking. Love it!!

This app would be near perfect if only they added an option to sort by tags in addition to collections. This is especially important to me since I cook seasonally. Instead of having to add one recipe to multiple relevant collections, I would love to be able to filter recipes from one collection by “fall - pasta - one pot” or something like that. Also, I think it’s necessary to be able to manually input some recipes added from links online for sites whose format is difficult to parse. It has been impossible for me to import recipes from some sites. Other than that I love the app!

Thanks so much for the feedback! We are actually working on a desktop version as we speak, so you should hopefully see that available in the next month or so. We would've loved to launch web sooner, but it's still just two of us running Spillt so we've had to be selective about the new features we prioritize :) Regardless, thank you for the review and let us know if you have any other ideas for making Spillt better!
