IBM TechXchange badges

Earn your Conference Learning badge

IBM TechXchange 2025 takes place October 6-9 in Orlando, Florida. This is your opportunity to advance your skills, network with peers and experts, earn certifications, and earn the exclusive Conference Learning badge!

If you’ve already earned any IBM TechXchange badge or IBM Credential, check out the Credentials Club at the conference! You’ll get exclusive access, special experiences, and recognition for your commitment to learning and skills growth. Use the IBM TechXchange 2025 conference mobile app to find out more.

Claim and display the Conference Learning badge:


  1. At the conference, complete at least four hours of technical learning including technology breakouts (60 min) and a minimum of one instructor-led lab or workshop (90 min).
  2. Go to the mobile app and fill out the form to request your badge.
  3. Watch for an email from Credly within 1–10 business days. Accept the badge using the link in the email.
  4. Share your achievement on LinkedIn using #IBMTechXchange!

And remember, it’s not too late to earn an IBM TechXchange badge before the conference so that you can access the Credentials Club!

Outstanding Technical Learner badge

To earn the Outstanding Technical Learner badge, you must earn at least one other TechXchange badge by November 30, 2025 and attend the IBM TechXchange 2025 conference. Learn more about how to earn badges.


Claim the Outstanding Technical Learner badge:


If you used the same email address for both your IBM TechXchange 2025 Conference Learning badge and your other IBM TechXchange badge:

  1. We will automatically issue the badge to you. Watch for an email from Credly within 1–20 business days. Accept the badge by clicking the link in the email.
  2. Share your achievement on LinkedIn using #IBMTechXchange!

If you used a different email address:

  1. Request the badge by completing the request form. Once we validate your request and your badge history to ensure requirements are met, we will issue the badge through Credly.
  2. Watch for an email from Credly within 1–20 business days. Accept the badge by clicking the link in the email.
  3. Share your achievement on LinkedIn using #IBMTechXchange!

IBM TechXchange learning badges highlight your skills, show that you are a committed learner, and build your social credibility. There are over 25 different badges available for different skill levels and technologies.

You can earn badges by attending eligible IBM TechXchange events. Official IBM digital credentials are issued by Credly. Badges can:

  • Qualify you for the prestigious Outstanding Technical Learner badge, which you can acquire by earning at least one badge and attending the IBM TechXchange 2025 conference

Notice: Data privacy

IBM leverages the services of Credly, a third-party data processor authorized by IBM and located in the United States, to assist in the administration of the IBM Digital Badge program. In order to issue you an IBM Digital Badge, your personal information (name, email address, and badge earned) will be shared with Credly. You will receive an email notification from Credly with instructions for claiming the badge. Your personal information is used to issue your badge and for program reporting and operational purposes.
