Simplify business onboarding with Embedded signup v4

By Keilani Collins

Introducing embedded signup v4

Embedded signup v4 is designed to streamline and unify the business onboarding experience for developers and businesses integrating with Meta Business Messaging technologies.

Why we built embedded signup v4

We have heard from developers that onboarding business clients to multiple APIs can be a challenge. Managing the technical logic of business onboarding across several APIs often means juggling different sets of requirements and assets, which can be complex and time-intensive for developers to set up and maintain. This can also create confusing experiences for business clients who have to navigate separate onboarding flows for each API.

What’s new in embedded signup v4

Embedded signup v4 addresses these challenges by unifying the onboarding process. With this release, developers can now onboard businesses to multiple WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram Business Messaging APIs through a single, streamlined flow - reducing friction and saving valuable development resources. Businesses benefit from a simplified onboarding experience, while developers gain a more efficient way to integrate with Business Messaging technologies. These improvements will make it even easier for developers to offer Business Messaging APIs to their business clients and for businesses to start engaging their clients with conversational experiences throughout the client journey.

Supported APIs

Embedded signup enables developers to provide an end-to-end Business Messaging experience on WhatsApp, and to extend their ads that click to message capabilities on Messenger and Instagram Direct. The following APIs are currently supported:

Developers can select which APIs to make available to their customers and single product onboarding remains supported.
