Experience the inaugural Songwriters Festival at The Woodlands® Resort, a three-day celebration of storytelling through music. Enjoy intimate performances and conversations with headliners Darryl Worley, The Frontmen, and Neal McCoy, along with acclaimed songwriters whose words and melodies have shaped the genre. In addition, guests can choose from exclusive VIP experiences featuring receptions, meet-and-greets, and curated dining. Finally, the weekend culminates with a festive New Year’s Day Brunch in the Grand Ballroom, featuring a 14-piece live jazz band to welcome 2026 in unforgettable style.

Grand Opening
Opening night invites guests into an evening of music and storytelling beneath the pines. The experience begins with an exclusive VIP reception featuring seasonal small bites curated by Chef Damond Stanciell, followed by an intimate performance from Darryl Worley that sets the tone for a weekend of heartfelt connection and creativity
Immersive Experiences
The day is filled with songwriter sessions and live showcases led by The Frontmen and a celebrated roster of artists sharing the stories behind their most iconic hits. Between performances, guests will indulge in a series of chef-crafted lunches highlighting flavors of the Gulf Coast, Latin America, and the Lone Star State—think smoked brisket, blackened redfish, pho noodle bowls, and tacos al pastor. VIP guests enjoy private receptions with bourbon and tequila pairings, featuring elevated plates such as black garlic lamb chops, hamachi aguachile, and wild mushroom risotto.
A Night to Remember
The grand finale before midnight celebrates the spirit of song and the energy of the season. Guests will enjoy a day of performances, intimate storytelling sets, and festive dining experiences culminating in the Boots & Bubbles New Year’s Eve Celebration. An array of culinary stations, from carving and poke to sweet crêpes, accompanies handcrafted cocktails and sparkling pours. As Neal McCoy takes the stage, his signature charisma and high-energy performance lead the countdown to 2026 with music, laughter, and a spectacular aerial display.

Welcome the new year with a New Year’s Day Jazz Brunch in the Grand Ballroom—a soulful finale featuring a 14-piece live jazz band and an opulent spread of seasonal favorites. Chef Stanciell’s menu showcases seafood towers, chef-attended omelet and pasta stations, and indulgent desserts such as bourbon bread pudding and chocolate croissants. It’s a perfect encore to a weekend where music, cuisine, and connection harmonize in the heart of The Woodlands.

All tickets are final sale and cannot be exchanged or refunded. In the case of an event cancellation without a rescheduled date, a full refund will be automatically issued to each patron on the credit card used to purchase. By purchasing a ticket to this event, you agree to this purchase policy. Before purchasing your tickets, we urge you to confirm the title, time and location of the event.
This 21+ event is designed for ticketed guests only. Each ticket admits the number of attendees specified at purchase, and access to food, beverage, and event experiences is reserved solely for those particular guests. Please note that additional, non-ticketed guests will not be accommodated.
At check in, the front desk will verify your check-out date. Rates quoted are based on check-in date and length of stay. Should you choose to arrive earlier than December 29, 2025 or depart later than January 1st, 2026, price is subject to change.
We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations if it appears that the customer, or a third party acting on their behalf, has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or if the reservation contains or results from an error caused by the customer or a third party.
