CHANDON a republié ceci
Today, on United Nations World Soil Day, we are reminded of the vital role soil health plays in supporting life on our planet. As humble guardians of the land, at CHANDON, we are deeply invested in nurturing the life beneath our feet, understanding that vibrant soil is central to our terroir, the quality of our sparkling wines, and the legacy we build for future generations. With six estates spanning four continents, CHANDON serves as an open observatory witnessing the profound impact of climate change on diverse soils and ecosystems. This unique global footprint fuels our shared mission: to rigorously test and implement pioneering practices that actively protect and regenerate our soils. Our goal is to maintain their fertility, prevent compaction and erosion, optimize water retention, and reduce pollution. Across our 1,400 hectares of primary vineyards, we are implementing transformative practices such as cover cropping, integrated livestock management, reduced tillage, and biodiversity preservation. This commitment extends beyond our vineyards; all our wineries are actively transitioning to regenerative agriculture, with the ambitious goal of achieving full certification across all six estates by 2028. Let's raise a toast to CHANDON China, for achieving the remarkable milestone of becoming the country's first certified organic winery, and to the dedicated CHANDON California team of experts, led by Carlos Danti, whose relentless efforts have earned their estate prestigious certifications in regenerative agriculture from Regenified™️ (Tier 4), as well as Napa Green and the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA). At CHANDON, our commitment as guardians of the lands we call home is unwavering. We are doing everything we can to ensure these vital ecosystems not only endure but thrive for generations to come. Do not share with or forward to people under legal drinking age. Enjoy Chandon responsibly. #Chandon #WorldOfChandon #ChandonCommunities #ChandonPossibilities #Chandoncraft #Landsofdiversity #Regenerativeagriculture #Worldsoildday #MoetHennessy
