Over the last couple of weeks, teams from Thales and Schiebel have been busy testing the latest spiral developments for the Rotary Wing UAS, building on #Peregrine, which is in service with the Royal Navy, in Cornwall, UK. The demonstrations focused on how a modular RWUAS system can be rapidly deployed and the data from on-board sensors, such as the #Thales 𝐈-𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫, manipulated easily by operators and moved around the battlespace, integrated in real-time with other sources of information to enable fast, accurate decision making.   The weather during the trial was certainly challenging, as can be imagined in Cornwall in November, and provided the perfect backdrop to demonstrate the resilience and effectiveness of the Peregrine capability, whatever the weather.
