There are two buttons with the crossed tools. Clicking on the smaller one onbutton at the left, next toright side of the Scene View (near the Gizmos button) hides the window:
The smaller highlighted button that is being referred to is on the right, not left. Provided more information for where the smaller button is located, since it won't be present if the scene view is not active.
