VENINI took part in the 26th session of the UN Tourism General Assembly and the Round Table of Tourise, the global platform dedicated to shaping the future of world tourism, both recently held in Riyadh, with Italy’s Minister of Tourism, Daniela Santanchè, in attendance. For the historic Murano-based glassmaker, the Gulf region has become an increasingly strategic hub. Following the opening of its first flagship store in Dubai’s iconic Dubai Mall, VENINI is now preparing to unveil a new boutique in Riyadh’s Solitaire Mall, one of Saudi Arabia’s leading luxury destinations. A part of the Damiani Group, VENINI has long been recognized as an ambassador of Italian excellence and a guardian of a centuries-old artisanal tradition. Its mission to share this craftsmanship globally was recently underscored by its participation in the 50th anniversary celebrations of the National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) in Washington, an event also attended by Minister Santanchè. Damiani strengthens its presence in in Dubai (UAE) and the Kingdom of Bahrain. The brand has indeed renovated its boutique (177 sqm) at the famous Dubai Mall and inaugurated a new one (150 sqm) at the luxurious Bahraini Marassi Galleria Mall. Both the stores follow the new global concept, characterized by original design and decor. It pays tribute to the Damiani’s quintessential Italian origins, expressed through meticulously designed spaces, the choice of precious materials and the warm color palette dominated by gold – a shade that matches the preferences of the Gulf clientele - with touches of beige and brown, the Maison’s signature nuance. By renovating the boutique in Dubai and opening a new one in Bahrain, Damiani confirms its intention to strengthen and expand its position in the Gulf region and across the Middle East – a distinctively strategic area for Made in Italy luxury – as witnessed by the recent inauguration of the flagship store at the Solitaire Mall in Riyadh, that joins the boutiques already opened in Doha (Qatar) and Kuwait City (Kuwait).
