Hi everyone, We're happy to announce the 1.0 release which you can install via pip or conda: pip install -U scikit-learn or conda install -c conda-forge scikit-learn You can read the release highlights under https://scikit-learn.org/stable/auto_examples/release_highlights/plot_relea… and the long list of the changes under https://scikit-learn.org/stable/whats_new/v1.0.html New major features include: mandatory keyword arguments in many places, Spline Transformers, Quantile Regressor, Feature Names Support, a more flexible plotting API, Online One-Class SVM, and much more! Query about backword compatibility of scikit-learn 1.2 with older versions of scikit-learn

Hello, I am going to start development of a tool with scikit-learn 1.2 as my project work. I have tried to search on the internet but I couldn't find it so I have sent this email. 1. My question is, if I use scikit-learn 1.2 for development of my tool and in future if new versions of scikit-learn will be released, will they be compatible with scikit-learn 1.2? 2. I would also like to know, from where I can find reverse compatibility of all versions of scikit-learn from 0.15 to 1.2? -- Thanks and Regards. scikit-learn 1.1.2 is out on pypi.org and conda-forge! This is a small maintenance release that fixes a couple of regressions: https://scikit-learn.org/dev/whats_new/v1.1.html#version-1-1-2 You can upgrade with pip as usual: pip install -U scikit-learn The conda-forge builds will be available shortly, which you can then install using: conda install -c conda-forge scikit-learn Thanks again to all the contributors. Scikit-learn metrics - Maximal Marginal Relevance

Hi Team, I was looking for an implementation of the Maximal Marginal Relevance (MMR) function in the sklearn metrics module. But I am not able to find it.
