  • The home of British ice cream is getting even cooler! Today, we proudly announced a £50 million investment to upgrade to our Gloucester factory, the UK’s largest ice cream site and the home of the Wall’s brand since 1959. This investment is the latest in a series of local site upgrades we are undertaking as part of our ~€380 million global supply chain transformation programme. Gloucester has been the beating heart of British ice cream for decades, it is home to favourites like Calippo, Viennetta, and Ben & Jerry’s, and proudly holds the record for the world’s longest Viennetta – an incredible 22.7 metres, created during a community challenge back in 2007. Present at the announcement were Lord Jason Stockwood, UK Minister for State Investments; Alex McIntyre, MP for Gloucester and UK Head of Country; and Jamie Farrell.   • Continued competitive growth for The Magnum Ice Cream Company Today, Unilever announced its Q3 trading update, and we’re proud to report another quarter of growth at TMICC. We delivered +3.7% Underlying Sales Growth (USG) versus the same period last year, with UVG (Underlying Volume Growth) remaining stable against a strong comparator from a year ago. Year-to-date, we have delivered +5.1% USG and +2.5% UVG in 2025 compared to the first nine months of 2024*.   TMICC competitive growth was driven by the continued success of its innovations and ongoing operational improvements. Cornetto led performance with high-single-digit growth, supported by the ongoing success of new flavours and formats across Europe and Asia. Ben & Jerry’s grew mid-single digit supported by the ongoing success of innovations launched in the first half, including new dairy and non-dairy flavours and Scoopapalooza, a mega pint format driving sharing occasions in the US. Magnum and Wall’s grew low single-digit against a strong prior year comparator.
