Palash Muchhal confirms wedding with Smriti Mandhana is off: “I’ve decided to move on… strict legal action will follow”

In a calm but firm note shared on his Instagram Stories, he put out his side of the story, confirming that the relationship has reached its end, something Smriti had also acknowledged earlier through her own statement.Palash began by sharing that he has chosen to step away from the relationship, writing, “I have decided to move on in my life and step back from my personal relationship.” His message, though brief, made it clear that the chapter has closed for him. Over the last week, the internet had been buzzing with harsh accusations, suggesting the wedding was stalled because Palash had cheated during the celebrations. Without naming anyone, he addressed these rumours head-on. He wrote, “It’s been very difficult for me to see people react so easily on baseless rumours about something which has been most sacred to me. It’s the most difficult phase of my life and I will deal with it gracefully holding on to my beliefs. I truly hope we, as a society, learn to pause before judging someone based on unverified gossip, whose sources are never identified. Smriti’s manager announced that the ceremony would not go ahead, citing a medical emergency involving her father.
