Casey Bridges likes to say that when teaching his students about guns,” It’s an hour of the warm and fuzzies. It’s about what a gun can do and how to handle it.” Bridges is a CCW (concealed carry weapon) instructor at The Range 702, the largest indoor shooting range in the city.

For those that have recently purchased guns, Bridges is the teacher you want, showing you all the ins and outs of the powerful weapon, but you’ll also find him helping guests that come to the range to shoot guns for fun—the venue is a top tourist spot to shoot handguns, machine guns, sniper rifles and beyond. “I call it running guns—watching over people shooting, showing people our different guns, making sure they’re comfortable handling guns,” Bridges says.

And you’re in good hands—Bridges has been handling guns for more than two decades. He was enlisted in the army for four years and has worked at various gun ranges and gun retail stores in Vegas. He received his teaching license eight years ago and joined The Range 702 in 2022, where he teaches three to four classes per week. He also owns more than a dozen guns and loves going into the desert to fire them off. And the favorite part of his job? Seeing the steady stream of new guns that The Range 702 gets in.

“We have all sorts of guns for you to shoot; you’ll get a well-rounded, fun experience,” Bridges says. “You’ll get some guns in your hands!”
