Caregivers carry so much during AEP — often quietly, often alone. This week, Johanna Cazares' shared the first piece in her new AEP reflection series — a look at what caregivers carry and why the process can feel overwhelming, even for those of us in healthcare. Her message is a reminder of something we see every year: Caregivers aren’t just helping with paperwork. They’re holding families together during one of the busiest seasons of the year. We’re grateful for Jo’s leadership and for the caregivers showing up every day. And that’s the standard we believe in at Alcar Health. #AEP2025 #Caregiving #Medicare #PACE https://lnkd.in/gfVPRNhR
I’ve been thinking a lot about caregivers this AEP season, especially daughters like me who step in to help their parents navigate a system that feels more complicated every year. These two in the photo are my parents. They’re the reason I make the calls, review the benefits, compare plans, and double-check the fine print. And even working in healthcare, it still takes time, energy, and a lot of support to get it right. If it feels overwhelming for someone in the industry, imagine what it feels like for the average caregiver staring at a stack of mailers over the holidays. That’s why proactive providers and trusted broker partnerships matter. Families shouldn’t have to figure this out alone-not during AEP, and not during the busiest season of the year. Support makes all the difference. And caregivers feel it. #AEP2025 #Caregiving #Medicare #HealthcareAccess #FamilyCaregivers #PACE #MedicareSupport #HolidaySeason
