The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. Since 1982, the Orange County Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association continues to be the premier source of information and support for people with Alzheimer’s disease, their families and caregivers. The Alzheimer’s Association has funded over $6 million dollars in research in Orange County and $375 million dollars globally. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is the largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research, and mobilize thousands of people in Orange County. Families find local support and enhanced care with our one-on-one care consultations, support groups and 24/7 multilingual helpline. The Alzheimer’s Association advocates for those living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia and their families on related legislative issues, and provides training and education to health care and long-term care providers.
