🏈 For the Jonas Brothers, Journey, and the University of North Dakota football team, the show must go on—and it did, even while the Alerus Center - Oak View Group had its roof upgraded to a new Elevate high-performance system! Working around a packed event schedule, managing high winds, and navigating elevation changes of up to 100 ft were some of the reasons Herzog Roofing Inc earned an Elevate US | Commercial Roofing Systems Architectural Excellence Award for reroofing one of North Dakota’s biggest venues. Others? ⬛ Herzog Roofing removed and replaced 3,000 squares of roofing on a surface with 20 distinct areas, a signature barrel design, and a span of 300,000 ft². 🍃 The almost 70-year-old family-founded business used a resilient Elevate system with a 30-year warranty guaranteed to withstand winds of up to 90mph and designed to handle the city’s 100°F temp swings. ♻️ Despite the wind, technical challenges, and events, the Herzog team completed the project on time, safely, and responsibly. Rather than going to the landfill, the stadium’s original roof was repurposed locally as fill material. Congratulations to Herzog Roofing on this award-winning project. It was amazing to partner on protecting a venue that means so much to Grand Forks and beyond! 👏
