🎉 Candidate File Categories Now Available in Ashby You can now organize uploaded files on candidate profiles with categories to quickly find the files you're looking for. When candidates have multiple documents (cover letters, transcripts, work samples) file names are not always reliable identifiers. Categories give you a structured, lightweight, way to organize and identify them at a glance. ⛔ New Feature: "Do Not Contact" Company Lists You can now create and manage a company-level "Do Not Contact" list to track organizations whose employees your team should not reach out to. You've always been able to mark individual candidates as "Do Not Contact," but doing it at the company level handles broader cases like non-solicitation agreements, M&A activity, or managing recruiting across a portfolio of brands. What's included: 🏢 Add companies with name variations to catch different aliases 📝 Notes to surface context on why a company is restricted ⚙️ Control whether to block outreach entirely or provide soft warnings 👥 Choose to include active employees only or previous employees as well 🗓️ Expiration settings for rules Documenting and maintaining this list in Ashby is a great way to ensure you have a source of truth for engaging candidates that fits into the rest of your hiring process.
