With 2 million children in L.A. County, pediatric emergencies can happen anywhere—not just in hospitals. CHLA’s Las Madrinas Simulation Center is proud to offer advanced training for clinicians outside CHLA, preparing them for the rarest and most critical moments. CHLA gave back to the community in meaningful ways this holiday season! Through our Holidays From the Heart program, volunteers prepared and delivered dozens of turkey dinners to patients and families, helping ease stress and spread joy during the holidays. Additionally, CHLA’s Community Impact Champions Network joined the Hollywood Food Coalition to help make Thanksgiving special for those in need. Volunteers prepared 300 hot meals and lunch sacks for the organization’s annual Thanksgiving dinner, supporting its year-round mission to serve meals to individuals experiencing food insecurity.
