Our Virginia Division once again supported Thrive Peninsula’s Let Christmas THRIVE program this year, one of our favorite holiday traditions! This important event helps bring the joy of the holiday season to the communtiies in our backyard. 🎁 The event provided $100 gift cards for 619 children - impacting nearly 100 different families - during our volunteer weekend. Our team also collected personal care items and assembled stockings for parents and guardians at the event. Three four-story apartment buildings and a seven-unit townhome building come together around a vibrant hub featuring the clubhouse and key amenity spaces, creating a natural, pet-friendly gathering place for neighbors. One of the most meaningful accomplishments on this project was the transformation of a previously underutilized site into a and thriving community. Through innovative solutions, like the use of the Cupolex system to create a moisture barrier and manage subsurface conditions, our team implemented modern environmental safeguards while restoring the land for future generations. ⚒️Our Clancy & Theys Raleigh team had the absolute best Saturday volunteering at Corral Riding Academy this past weekend! 🐴 Corral Riding Academy serves girls in Wake County who have experienced a wide range of trauma and adverse childhood experiences. To date, they have helped over 566 youth since 2008. This was our 2nd C&T volunteer date with Corral Riding Academy, and we look forward to going back out again and again. In total, our team donated 53 volunteer hours to support this incredible organization. Together, we mended fences, built gates, mowed, weed-eated, mucked pastures, reframed doors, box-bladed rough areas, cleaned up fallen trees, hauled lumber, and dug up unwelcome trees - all while sharing a genuine love for giving back to our community. We strive to be an integral part of the community: from the construction of landmark buildings to giving back to the organizations and people at the heart of our community. From the first columns to the emerging framework, each lift brings us closer to delivering a space that will serve the University of Central Florida for years to come.
