It’s a pleasure to support the Oil and Gas Industry in Brazil sponsoring the 2025 Golf and Energy Tournament, which took place on October 31 in the beautiful Itanhangá Golf Club in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event gathered 135 players, and it was a great opportunity to network with professionals from the industry. A special recognition to Germán Horacio Moss, P.E. and Iñaki Barrangu who represented our company. DeGolyer and MacNaughton's history in Brazil dates back to the 1940s and we are proud of our current role leading independent evaluations that represent more than 90% of the country’s reserves. Our distinct combination of extensive global knowledge and deep local experience enables us to address any challenge effectively.

🏌️♂️ What a Day on the Green! On October 10th, we teed off for our long-anticipated golf tournament, which did not disappoint! Golf enthusiasts from across the entire oil & gas value chain came together for an afternoon of friendly competition, perfect weather, and valuable industry networking. ⛳️ Whether in foursomes or individual play, participants made their way through all 18 holes, showcasing not only skill but a strong spirit of camaraderie. Congratulations to everyone for making it a memorable day on the course, and for helping to strengthen connections across the IAPG Houston community! 🍷🥟 Off the course, we enjoyed delicious empanadas and red wine, blending our passion for golf with lively conversations about the oil & gas industry. From perfect drives to the occasional detour into the rough, it was all part of the experience! 🙏 A special thank you to our generous sponsors, DeGolyer and MacNaughton, for supporting the IAPG Houston in our ongoing mission to strengthen ties between the Argentine and U.S. oil and gas sectors. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Enerflex Ltd. and Radius Energy for proudly representing their companies in our foursomes tournament. 📆 We're already looking forward to next year’s tournament and hope to see even more of you out there! #GolfTournament #IAPGHouston #OilAndGas #Networking #Argentina

This work introduces a data-driven methodology for analyzing multiphase well performance and forecasting gas-oil or condensate-gas ratios, particularly in complex unconventional plays. The approach uses diagnostic plots and data transformations to estimate production and reserves across large well datasets, and has been successfully applied in basins like Delaware, Midland, and Williston, showing promise in improving forecast accuracy and reducing reserves revisions. 🎙 Dilhan Ilk 📅: Friday, 22 August ⏰: 9-10 am CT / 16:00-17:00 CET 📄Paper: https://lnkd.in/gmaq4fm8 ➡️ Register at https://lnkd.in/gzS34q4G

Had a great session today on Clarity in Reserves Classification and Economic Evaluation – a joint session by SKK Migas, Medco Energi, and DeGolyer and MacNaughton (D&M) in support of shared best practices and transparency in resource reporting, led by Federico Dordoni, Reggie Boles, and Diana Mancilla. Participants showed dynamic energy and high enthusiasm, asking thoughtful questions that sparked great discussions. It was a strong synergy and brainstorming exchange between the regulatory body, operator, and an independent certification body like D&M. Key Takeaways: • Reserves classification must align PRMS definitions with consistent application, strong justification, documentation, and clarity. •With structured methodology, transparent governance, and strong oversight, Indonesia can strengthen technical clarity, boost investor confidence, and mature governance in reserves reporting. A great step forward in reinforcing collaboration, trust, and excellence in reserves reporting.

DeGolyer and MacNaughton issued the first reserves report on Enhanced Geothermal Systems for Fervo Energy https://lnkd.in/guvwSYdG In coordination with the drilling of its Sugarloaf appraisal well, Fervo Energy has obtained an independent geothermal reserves report from worldwide consulting firm DeGolyer and MacNaughton for Phase I of its Cape Station project. This comprehensive technical and economic evaluation of Fervo’s development plan provides external verification regarding Fervo’s ability to deliver contracted clean energy volumes to customers, including Shell Energy (https://lnkd.in/gaXhhnqW) and Southern California Edison (https://lnkd.in/dTkRDs2P). DeGolyer & MacNaughton performed an independent estimation of reserves in accordance with the Petroleum Resources Management System, and applied those same principles to the evaluation of thermal energy. The firm also conducted a comprehensive review of Fervo’s drilling data, geologic models, and production test results. DeGolyer & MacNaughton found that Fervo’s proprietary enhanced geothermal system successfully unlocks thermal recovery factors ranging from 50 to 60 percent, tripling the amount of useful thermal energy reserves compared to conventional geothermal technology. The results of the report confirm that the Cape Station project area can support over 5 GW of development at depths of up to 13,000 feet. The success of the Sugarloaf well in combination with the application of Fervo’s enhanced geothermal systems are expected to significantly increase the resource potential of the Cape Station project.
