  • Every big story starts small. Ours began in 2000 with a clear vision: to build technology that truly solves business problems. Twenty-five years later, DevCom has evolved into a global software development company with over 250 engineers delivering custom solutions across various industries and continents. In a recent Business Advisor Magazine feature, our founder & CEO, Dima Semensky, reflects on the principles that shaped this journey — lessons on leadership, scaling teams, and innovating with purpose. Here are a few that still guide us every day: 1️⃣ Focus on understanding the problem space before building the solution. 2️⃣ Build a client-first culture — success happens when your clients succeed. 3️⃣ Use technology to empower people, not replace them. 🔗 Read the full story in Business Advisor Magazine: https://lnkd.in/dBJD4xph

  • BA Director Elina Lapka is back from #WebSummit Lisbon 2025, where she participated in a panel on Artificial Intelligence - specifically its shift from rising trend to operational baseline for software development teams. Key BA-focused insights included applying “vibe-coding” principles to accelerate requirements gathering and prototyping, and the importance of rethinking and redesigning workflows prior to AI-driven automation.

Last week I attended #WebSummit, and it was both inspiring and challenging - AI is no longer a trend, it’s the new baseline 🚀 Here are the key insights that stood out to me: ✨AI is democratizing access once reserved for the top 1% This echoed across many talks: ✅ AI turns data noise into clarity ✅ You can delegate the tasks you don’t want to do ✅ Anyone with an idea can now build software This wasn’t just a slogan — Anton Osika (Lovable) shared that 100,000 products a day are already created on their platform, many turning into real startups. That’s the future of product creation. ✨ AI is not replacing us - it’s changing how we think about work Atlassian’s president, Anu Bharadwaj, highlighted an important truth: “Automation of dysfunctional workflows only automates dysfunction.” AI isn’t about speeding up the old way of working - it's about rethinking the process itself. Key lessons: ✅ Redesign the workflow → then automate ✅ Discover new AI abilities regularly ✅ AI agents need permissioning and guardrails — just like human roles ✅ Coordination — not coding — is the next frontier for AI ✨The rise of vericoding: BAs write the spec, AI writes & verifies the code One of the most thought-provoking moments for me came from MIT professor Max Tegmark’s session, where he expanded on the emerging concept of vericoding. The idea is simple but transformative: instead of writing code, we write clear specifications, and AI both generates the implementation and formally verifies it against those specs. Accuracy is already above 60%. Tools for this are becoming free and open source. As a BA, this feels like the future of our profession: we become architects of intent, not translators between business and engineering. ✨ Human connection still matters One quote that stayed with me: “The limits of others are not your limits.” AI amplifies talent - but people, leadership, and collaboration still drive execution. Our role is to enable teams to move faster with clarity, confidence, and creativity. These insights are giving us a clear path forward at DevCom: deeper AI-enhanced discovery, smarter workflows, and bold exploration of vericoding as the next stage of requirements. Excited to turn this vision into real impact 💙
