Had a great time at New York University where our Product Manager and NYU Tandon School of Engineering alumnus, Mihai Ciocan, walked students through his journey to Dirac, Inc. and how we’re rebuilding Western manufacturing. For the last month of 2025, we want to celebrate Dirac’s partnerships with stellar customers as we gear up for another successful year in 2026. We’ll be honoring each customer by highlighting the incredible manufacturing work they do to bolster the western industrial base. First up this month, Spudnik Equipment Company LLC! Based in Blackfoot, Idaho, this customer is a backbone of American agriculture and a name every potato grower knows. Spudnik implemented Dirac’s BuildOS platform to overcome a long-standing challenge in manufacturing: reliance on the undocumented knowledge of a single experienced operator to build critical assemblies. By deploying BuildOS to automatically generate animated, model-based work instructions, Spudnik was able to reduce new operator build times by 33%, standardize processes, accelerate training, reduce rework, and build operational resilience across its production team. As a team obsessed with real, physical products, seeing BuildOS live on Spudnik’s floor is incredibly special.
