We’re proud to share that ERG will continue supporting the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)'s Community Grants Program. ERG has partnered with EPA on this program and its predecessor, the Construction Grant Management Evaluation of Special Appropriations Act Projects Grants Program, for more than eight years. Together, we’ve supported efforts to strengthen community access to critical water infrastructure funding and improve water quality across the nation. This new project award enables ERG to continue assisting EPA with a wide range of federal grant management activities, helping communities implement projects that protect public health and the environment. We’re honored to continue this important work advancing sustainable water infrastructure and supporting communities nationwide. #EnvironmentalStewardship #WaterInfrastructure #EPA #CommunityGrants

ERG’s biomonitoring experts, led by Clifton Dassuncao, were proud to support the Minnesota Department of Health in developing this report, which will ultimately help develop better PFAS biomonitoring programs for firefighters. #PFAS #EmergingContaminants #SupportingFirstResponders
The per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) Biomonitoring Best-Practices Report for Minnesota Firefighters provides expert, evidence-based recommendations to guide future biomonitoring and firefighter health studies. Developed under legislative direction, in partnership with Eastern Research Group and Minnesota firefighter associations, the report highlights ways to effectively and equitably measure chemical exposures in firefighters. Biomonitoring, measuring chemicals in people, helps identify how and where exposure occurs. The Minnesota Department of Health is now using these recommendations to launch a three-year, statewide biomonitoring project to help protect those who protect us. Congratulations to two outstanding ERGers who reached 35 years with us this year. Roy Oommen is a senior chemical engineer. For the past 35 years, he has led over 40 regulatory development projects covering everything from petroleum refining to pulp and paper manufacturing, resulting in cleaner, healthier air, land and water - and that's just a piece of his incredible portfolio at ERG. Leigh Roller is the leader of our contracts team and always focuses on what's in ERG's best interest. She has led ERG in expanding from a few federal contracts to a huge variety of contracts with clients around the country and the globe. Thank you, Roy and Leigh, for your dedication, professionalism, and expertise!
