Dr. Ahn brings over 30 years of leadership and technical expertise, with senior roles at LG Chem, Samsung SDI, and, most recently, as CTO of PowerCo. His deep experience in battery innovation and advanced materials is a powerful complement to our work delivering the industry’s widest and highest-quality ultra-thin lithium metal films. Dr. Ahn is thoughtful, deeply knowledgeable, and has already made a meaningful impact on our Board. We’re excited to have him along for the journey.

We are so excited to announce the launch of Elevated Materials!   Born from Applied Materials with investment TPG, Elevated Materials leverages hundreds of patents and decades of experience in thin film materials engineering to deliver ultra-thin lithium films for the #battery industry. Our ultra-thin #lithium films can be applied across silicon and graphite for pre-lithiation and on top of copper for next-generation lithium metal batteries.   For those who know our work from Applied Materials, we will continue to operate our piloting facilities in Sunnyvale, Calif., and Alzenau, Germany, but with a renewed focus as an independent company.
