While covering a local football game, youth sports broadcaster and producer Caleb Brown fell 20 feet, sustaining multiple injuries that led to an extended hospital stay. He came to our hospital in Melbourne, Florida for inpatient rehabilitation. With the unwavering support of his care team, Caleb worked tirelessly to regain his independence and return home. “It’s only a matter of time until everyone sees me back doing what I love — broadcasting and producing youth sports,” Caleb said. We had a truly special moment at our Encompass Health hospital in Newnan, Georgia recently. Love filled our courtyard as the granddaughter of one of our patients said “I do” at our rehabilitation hospital, so her grandfather could be part of her big day. Surrounded by family, it was a beautiful reminder that healing takes many forms and love knows no limits. Congratulations to the newlyweds and thank you for letting us share in such a meaningful celebration.

Debbie Finley arrived at our Encompass Health hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas completely dependent. She couldn’t walk and had to rely on others for even the most basic tasks. With the support of our multidisciplinary care team — including physical, occupational and speech therapists, nurses, physicians, dietitians and case managers — Debbie began an intensive, personalized rehabilitation journey. Through hard work, unwavering faith and encouragement from her care team, family and friends, she gradually regained her strength. Debbie walked out of our hospital on her own. Congratulations, Debbie, and thank you for trusting us with your care.
