Great to see Firestorm highlighted in Business Insider: "How do you get cheap military drones fast? 3D-print them on the battlefield." Article linked here: https://lnkd.in/gV_hc2xS The US needs scale, speed, and the ability to build at the edge. xCell and our modular UAS platforms give warfighters the ability to rapidly manufacture and adapt systems anywhere in the world.

It was an honor to represent Firestorm at the United States National Drone Association Conference, sharing the debate stage with industry leaders from Neros Technologies (Soren Monroe-Anderson), PDW (Ryan Gury), KVG (John B.), and the US Army's CPT Tim Washburn, LTC William Taylor, MAJ Matt Huff. COL Howard Marotto led a fantastic discussion on one of the toughest challenges we face today: how to balance scalability with adaptability in developing UAS for the United States Department of War. At Firestorm, our xCell expeditionary manufacturing systems and modular UAS platforms are built with this balance in mind, designed to confront the Contested Logistics realities America and our partners will face in future conflicts. Buying tens of thousands more UAS is a strong start. But if we cannot rapidly iterate, regenerate, and sustain these systems at the edge, far from CONUS, we will struggle to stay ahead of our adversaries. #contestedlogistics #UAS #dronedominance #defensetech

From our latest United States Air Force xCell delivery to our deployments with US Army units, one thing is clear: the warfighter is ready to build, fix, and adapt on the spot. End users are embracing additive manufacturing not as a future concept, but as a tool they want in the field today. As Firestorm CEO Dan Magy 🏴☠️ says: “Stop being reliant on centralized manufacturing and fight the fight as you go.” With our recent Army xTech Overwatch win, we’re expanding this capability across Army formations and accelerating the shift toward true expeditionary sustainment.

The Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering recently formalized in strategy what Firestorm has been building toward since day one: to win against rapidly evolving adversaries, the U.S. must double down on technologies that deliver real, immediate, competitive advantage. With Contested Logistics Technologies and Applied Artificial Intelligence now designated as top Critical Technology Areas, the combination of Firestorm’s xCell expeditionary manufacturing nodes and low-cost, modular Tempest UAS platforms provides a scalable, ready-to-deploy solution for the warfighter. Tempest is featured at -2:48. This is only the beginning 🔥
The pressing national security challenges of our time necessitate that the United States Department of War innovate with uncompromising speed. Proven, tangible technologies must be placed into the hands of our warfighters so they never face a fair fight. To that end, the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering is announcing its new list of Critical Technology Areas for the United States Department of War.

Did you catch our special solo episode last week? No guest, just Dan Magy 🏴☠️ and his unfiltered thoughts on Palmer Luckey's appearance on the Joe Rogan Podcast. Name a better way to spend 12 minutes. Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gEKcM6EX

Firestorm is proud to have won the Army xTech Overwatch Competition. Soldiers ran a full ISR workflow on Tempest: planning the mission, pulling live video to the ground, capturing imagery, and running it through an AI model that returned target descriptions and GPS points in real time. A strong validation of fast, soldier-operated ISR using our autonomous platform.

Firestorm has delivered an xCell microfactory to the Air Force Research Laboratory in Rome, NY. xCell enables forward production and repair of mission-critical components. We’re proud to support AFRL’s mission and to help accelerate the United States Air Force’s push toward distributed manufacturing and affordable mass. More deliveries ahead as we’re rolling xCells off the line every month.

What happens when you pair #Soldiers with capability that US Army Secretary Dan Driscoll demands - they walked out of Firestorm's xCell with fully operational quadcopters in their hands. ⏱️ Average build time? Under 60 minutes. Fastest Soldier, 33 minutes and 7 seconds. Platforms optimized for Soldier production. They flew them. They crashed them. They didn't call the XO to start a FLIPL — they printed a new frame overnight among other Class IX parts. 💰 repair < $100 (motors and rotors) - Crash all you want. Train like you fight. This isn’t a prototype. This is the new standard: #additivemanufacturing that turns any forward operating location into a micro-factory and every Soldier into a rapid capability developer. The future of warfare isn’t waiting on a slow supply chain — it’s printing on demand, at the edge. We’re just getting started. Come see us and hear the story today at UAV West, station 19, at Global SOF Foundation's #MWW Demo day at The Range Complex - demos at 1030 and 1400. #FutureOfWarfare #contestedlogistics #ExpeditionaryManufacturing #DefenseTech
