Enjoyed working with a customer to help get a prominent duck club back up and running just in time to start pumping water into their fields and woods to provide critical winter habitat for thousands of waterfowl each year as they migrate south. This new FW24AF propeller pump was retrofitted to the customers' existing fabricated discharge piping. With the low head requirements on these style pumps, they sure can move a lot of water in a short amount of time! Shout out to our Caldwell, ID Preferred Pump & Equipment build center for doing a great job with these (6) FW10LS close coupled 316SS vertical turbines. The pumps were designed to produce 500GPM at 206'TDH on the 6 stage units and 500GPM at 350'TDH on the 10 stage units. These all featured Nitronic 50 shafting, marine bearings, and custom-built fabricated discharge heads to meet the customer's specifications. With harvest in full swing, we wanted to recognize one our recent AG Irrigation installations. Our Preferred Pump & Equipment Fresno, CA Build Center showing off a recent short-coupled propeller pump (Model FW14AF) they built. This type of vertical turbine pump is designed for maximum flow and low head pressures to move as much water as possible.
