Resiliency and being “the first” but not the last💡 Drawing from some of her most challenging work experiences, Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems Chief Communications Officer Stephanie Roberts spoke at a recent Women in Compressed Air event about the rewards of overcoming tough environments. As a keynote speaker, Stephanie delved into how experiences like her current international assignment have ultimately taught her the most about resilience, adaptability, and leadership. Where these qualities can take years to develop, stepping outside one’s comfort zone can accelerate that growth. Another key factor, she said, is “the importance of not just breaking barriers ourselves, but helping to ensure others can follow. Titles and milestones matter less than opening doors and building an environment where more women can grow and lead.” We’re proud to see our leadership using opportunities like this to inspire and support others across our industry. Hosted at the Compressed Air Best Practices Expo, the event “celebrated the progress our industry has made for women, and how much further we can go when we continue to support and learn from one another.”

This week marked a proud milestone for Hitachi Industrial Equipment Systems. On November 3, we celebrated the official opening of our new factory in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, our first full-scale manufacturing facility in India. The factory will produce Hitachi stationary oil-flooded screw air compressors, strengthening our ability to serve customers in India with local production, faster service and greater value. The day brought together employees, executives and dignitaries from across the region. It began with a town hall led by our President and CEO, John Randall, followed by a ribbon cutting and ceremony celebrating new beginnings and shared growth. We look forward to deepening our presence, supporting customers, and contributing to the region’s growing industrial sector. 今週、日立産機システムにとって大きな節目となる出来事がありました。 11月3日、インド・グジャラート州ガンディナガルに新たな製造拠点が正式にオープンしました。これは、当社としてインド初の本格的な生産拠点です。 この新工場では、日立の給油式スクリュー空気圧縮機を生産し、現地での製造体制を強化。お客さまへの迅速なサービスと高い付加価値提供をめざします。 当日は、地域各地から従業員や経営陣、関係者が集まり、当社の取締役社長 兼CEOのジョン・ランドールによるタウンホールミーティングでスタート。続いてテープカットが行われ、新たな門出とともに、これからの成長を全員で祝いました。 これからも、インドの地にしっかりと根を下ろし、お客さまを支え、地域産業の発展に貢献してまいります。
