Our colleagues in Lolita, TX, gathered on May 15-16 to enjoy and learn about the many cultures, countries, and backgrounds that make our Inteplast Group workforce so unique. The World Culture Celebration Day was attended by about 1,200 staff members (an estimated 600 colleagues attended per day). The event was planned by the Human Resources Department, with General Affairs, Safety, and other Administration departments. This video, captured by our Media Specialist Henry Martinez, shows staff taking a break from the workday to taste different cuisines, partaking in a raffle contest, perusing the food trucks, and even listening to our colleague Eldon Raaz, of the Trucking Department, singing karaoke. Take a look at the video to get a sense of the dynamic gathering at our flagship site last month. Also, in the photo gallery, you’ll see a photo of a map, where colleagues used pins to mark where they are from across the world. Written by Ayesha Gallion

Inteplast Team Goes Back to High School for the ‘Future’ Written by Ayesha Gallion March 10, 2025 | Livingston, NJ On February 5, several Inteplast Group colleagues from the Human Resources Department and IBS Division at our flagship site in Lolita, TX, visited Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca to speak with an engineering class for Meet Your Future, an event designed to educate students on career options. Human Resources Recruiter Nohemy Vasquez was one of four Inteplast employees who spoke to the students at Calhoun High School, about 18 miles away from Lolita, and which is also her alma mater. Vasquez was invited to the school by Amy Boone, the Partners in Education coordinator for the Calhoun County Independent School District. Vasquez extended the invitation to colleagues Human Resources Administrator Caylie Garcia, IBS Mechanical Engineer Alex Dean, and Project Engineer Leo Plotini. “It was a pleasure returning to my old high school and informing Calhoun High School’s Engineering Essentials class on who we are and what we do. I also shared that we have six types of engineering jobs at our Lolita location alone,” said Vasquez. Garcia spoke to the class about Inteplast Group’s onboarding process, while Plotini and Dean shared insight on why they chose a career in engineering and their roles at Inteplast. Students received gift bags with branded T-shirts, sunglasses, and other items. High school is often over faster than students can comprehend, Vasquez explained. “We all shared our own advice on how important it is to stay focused on their career goals during their high school years, because college will be approaching fast,” said Vasquez.
