Jacksonville’s growth is accelerating and JEA is proud to help power the progress. Through our Developers Workshop and more than 3,200 pre-development and pre-construction meetings last year, we’re helping builders plan smarter and move projects forward with confidence. In 2025, JEA energized 2,666 new single-family lots and supported 200+ commercial projects across our community. By strengthening communication and coordination, we’re making development easier and more efficient for everyone. #CommunityGrowth #Development

JEA takes preparedness seriously and it starts with teamwork. Our teams recently came together for GRID X 8, a national cybersecurity and physical security exercise led by NERC and E-ISAC. Over two days, we worked through a simulated phishing attack, a mock shutdown of a generation facility, and an emergency response to a substation incident. Practicing these scenarios face-to-face helps us strengthen communication, sharpen decision-making, and identify gaps in case a real event ever occurs. #CyberSecurity #EmergencyResponse

We're proud to celebrate the JEA Small Diameter Pipe Replacement Program, winner of ETM's Innovation Excellence Award! ETM partnered with JEA to replace aging galvanized water mains across Jacksonville neighborhoods using an innovative trenchless method called Stitch Moling. This approach allowed new HDPE water mains to be installed adjacent to existing lines, keeping customers in service while reducing impacts to the community. Results: - 25% cost savings - 50% faster completion - Reduced neighborhood disruption This pilot project proved so successful that JEA and ETM are expanding the method to future replacement projects, paving the way for faster, smarter, and more resilient infrastructure. At JEA, service is more than something we do, it’s part of who we are. This year, more than 1,000 JEA volunteers and ambassadors dedicated 5,100+ hours to supporting schools, uplifting neighborhoods and strengthening our community. At our annual recognition ceremony, we celebrated the individuals and teams who embodied that spirit all year long: Volunteer Team of the Year ✨ Water and Wastewater Site Restoration Team, led by Whitney Saunders. They are known for their hard work and joyful involvement in Jacksonville’s annual Fish-a-Thon. Ambassador of the Year ✨ Akiesha Johnson, recognized for her dedication to JEA’s Senior Day and for helping educate Duval County students about how power and water work. Inaugural Community Champion Award ✨ Von Fuller, honored with a standing ovation for her decades of leadership, volunteerism and unwavering commitment to JEA and our community. To every volunteer and ambassador: thank you. Your service doesn’t just support Jacksonville, it inspires it.

Our team works every day to reduce the impact of fats, oils, and grease on our wastewater system, and this award spotlights the meaningful difference they’re making for our community and the environment. I recently had the opportunity to represent JEA at George Washington Carver Elementary for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ Literacy Locker Room in partnership with READ USA, Inc. Jags defensive lineman BJ Green connected with students through reading and conversation, and Jaxson de Ville kept the enthusiasm high. Every student selected new books to take home, thanks to the support of Read USA — and their excitement was unmistakable. Proud to be part of efforts that strengthen literacy, spark curiosity, and invest directly in our Jacksonville community. Huge thank you to Duval County Public Schools for having us 🐆📚 #CommunityEngagement #Jaguars #LiteracyMatters #Jacksonville
