    Hard to believe this is real. Big thank you to our fearless team Kitsch. We couldn't do it without Shopify which has enabled a small hair tie brand that my wife Cassandra Thurswell started out of our apartment to scale to over Ten Million orders.      🎉 Kitsch just hit 10 million Shopify orders! 🎉 It’s a milestone we’re still wrapping our heads around, 10 million Shopify orders out in the world. From our very first scrunchies to our most viral innovations today, this journey has been fueled entirely by our community’s support, creativity, and love for products that make everyday beauty a little easier. Fittingly, our 10 millionth Shopify order came through TikTok Shop from a customer named Sophia, who picked up our viral Zig-Zag Headband. A full-circle moment for a product (and a platform) that has brought so many new customers into the Kitsch family. To every customer who has shopped with us… To every retail partner who has believed in us… To every creator who has shared our products… And to our incredible team who brings the Kitsch vision to life every single day… Thank you. We’re so grateful for how far we’ve come, and we’re even more excited for what’s ahead.     Our Founder & CEO, Cassandra Thurswell, recently spoke at BeautyMatter’s NEXT50 Summit about what it truly means to build and scale a brand on your own terms. Cassandra reflected on the patience and discipline behind choosing to bootstrap Kitsch from day one. “I think bootstrapping takes a lot of patience. You can have a small, profitable brand that you love but that’s not celebrated enough.” That self-reliance often sharpens your instincts. “When you bootstrap, you don’t have the luxury of hiring experts for every part of your business,” Thurswell added. “It forces you to learn everything. You understand every penny you’re spending and why you’re spending it.” Her perspective is a refreshing reminder in a beauty landscape often focused on rapid scale: sustainable, intentional growth can be the most powerful path forward.     At Kitsch, we’re extremely grateful for our partnership over the years with 4ocean PBC. Our latest quarterly impact report is in, and we’re thrilled to share the results! Over the past two years, we’ve helped remove 528,352 pounds of plastic from oceans, rivers, and coastlines. That’s equivalent to 4.68 million shampoo bottles or 21.05 million bottles worth of plastic! This progress is made possible through our partnership together. For every Kitsch shampoo or conditioner bar sold, the equivalent of one plastic shampoo bottle is removed from the ocean. Every purchase contributes to a cleaner, healthier planet. Thank you to our customers and partners for championing sustainable beauty. Together, we’re making a tangible difference!

    Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting a truly memorable weekend at the Kitsch Café in New York City to celebrate the launch of our Hair Perfume at Bedford Studio. Over the course of the event, we welcomed more than 800 guests, our amazing community who made the experience so special. The excitement was so high that lines started forming as early as 3 a.m., stretching down the street just to get in! From curated sips and sweets to exclusive shopping experiences and photo-worthy moments, the weekend was nothing short of extraordinary. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our vendors, with a special shoutout to Stanley’s Claw Machines for bringing the iconic Kitsch claw machine to life! Labubu and Hair Perfume fans, we hope you snagged some goodies! Above all, thank you to the Kitsch Community for your energy, support, and enthusiasm.
