Huge thanks to Jason Lamb, Austin Pollack, and Catherine Steward for sharing their storytelling passion and expertise with the KSTU-TV FOX 13 News team! Thanks also to all of our staff who showed up on a Sunday afternoon for this workshop. We discussed all the ways we can make our stories memorable - why finding a theme for each story is so important, how the structure of the story can make all the difference in its impact, and why it’s important to always look for memorable moments. I’m thankful for colleagues across the company with this knowledge and passion for this work, and for a staff eager to come hear it!
