🏗️ ✂️ Over a decade in the making: the ribbon is officially cut! Last week we celebrated the #RibbonCutting for a project that began as a vision in 2008 and has come to life as the newly completed Church of Our Saviour and Care For Friends. For over a century, #ChurchofOurSaviour has served as a foundation of faith and community in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Now, a three-story, 20,000-square-foot Parish Hall addition breathes new life into the landmark 1888 church, offering expanded spaces for adult and youth ministry, administrative work, worship, and connection. The new #CommunityHub expands Care For Friends reach, offering hot meals, food pantries, grocery delivery, and health and wellness programs that support Chicagoans in need. 🌳 Newly Opened Franklin Township Community Park! From the first day of construction to the laughter and energy now filling its open spaces, we’re proud to have been part of something special for the Franklin Township community. Spanning 99 acres, the revitalized Franklin Township Community Park now features new basketball and pickleball courts, modern playground, paved walking trails, expanded parking, and shaded canopy and picnic areas, all designed to bring people together through recreation, connection, and play. It’s been an honor for us to partner with Indy Parks and Recreation, Mayor Joe Hogsett, Councilor Brian Mowery, Mayor’s Neighborhood Advocate Delia Novak, and the Franklin Township community on this outdoor transformation.
