Construction continues on the Vehicle Maintenance Facility in the Chicago metro area. A significant accomplishment was the execution of complex site infrastructure, notably the successful installation of trench drains and the intricate Storm Trap system. This component required intensive logistics and planning, requiring over 50 truck deliveries. This month, the Project Team has achieved key structural milestones, including the completion of steel decking, pouring of concrete slabs, and the complete installation of roofing and skylights. We are now preparing to close the building envelope and advance the facility's sustainability goals by moving into the next phase: installing the solar-powered roof.

Members of the Path Construction team in Chicagoland recently celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Philip J. Rock Center and School, the only school in the country that supports children who are both blind and deaf. The new facility offers classrooms, dormitories, and specialized spaces tailored to meet students’ unique needs. With the new building now complete, work is transitioning to Phase 2, which will focus on the demolition of the previous structure and continued improvements to the campus, building on a foundation designed with students first.
