A big WELCOME to the 20 new territory managers who recently joined Patterson on the companion animal side of our business! These 20 new team members, who represent 12 different branches throughout the country, traveled to our Loveland, Colorado headquarters to take part in a multiday training event organized by the Patterson Training Leadership team. Throughout the event, attendees enjoyed presentations from Companion Animal President George Henriques, our customer service team, marketing team, leaders from various branches, and several of our valued vendor partners. They also participated in over 25 sessions that covered our products and services. We thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation, and we know the newest members of team Patterson are excited to get out and make connections with all of our wonderful customers! #WeArePatterson Patterson Veterinary Supply

In celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday and the spirit of gratitude it embodies, we recently asked Patterson employees to let us know some of the things they're most grateful for. From connections with colleagues, to crowded tables, to furry friends, to secret snack stashes, sports, and everything in between, it’s clear our team members have a bevy of blessings to count this holiday season, and we hope the same is true for you! Since 2021, the #PattersonFoundation has donated $132,000 to nine National FFA Organization chapters across the United States. Patterson Foundation grants support a variety of functions within the FFA organization, including teacher development and funding for FFA teachers to attend their state’s annual conference. Sadie Sullivan, daughter of Animal Health International Territory Manager Tim Sullivan, is a senior at the University of Minnesota School of Agriculture and is on track to realize her dreams of becoming a mixed animal veterinarian. A Patterson Scholarship recipient, FFA student and judge, this bright young woman shares how she “wouldn’t be who she is today, if it weren’t for being in the FFA.” Stories like these make us proud to support organizations like the FFA, which positively influence students and help shape the future of the agriculture industry! #WeArePatterson

Shoutout to the team at our Jacksonville, Florida Fulfillment Center, for putting the “good” in baked goods! Every Wednesday throughout the month of October, the event planning team held a bake sale to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research. As the weeks progressed, so too did the creativity of the desserts — which included pineapple upside-down cake, zucchini bread, pecan cheesecake, traditional Filipino desserts, exotic puddings, and more. Operations Supervisor Zainat Hernandez, one of the event organizers, said “It started as a friendly competition, but turned into motivation to increase sales each week. It became so popular that we had to create a menu of what would be available to purchase each Wednesday! We sold out every single week.” Ultimately, the “sweetest” part was raising a total of over $1,600 throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Patterson CEO Robert Rajalingam recently had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at a dental industry leadership event, hosted by Dykema DSO Industry Group and held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The event brought together leaders of more than 30 Dental Service Organizations, and Robert shared his view of the industry, current market trends, and how Patterson is well positioned to deliver innovative solutions as a partner of choice. The event was infused with an extra sprinkle of ✨Disney magic✨ in the form of special appearances by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who were celebrating their birthdays — observed annually on November 18. It’s hard to say whether Robert was more delighted at the chance to present, or to help Mickey celebrate!

When you think of a correctional facility, you likely don't think of cute, fuzzy puppies. But, for many prisons across the country, puppies are among the inmates in their care. Earlier this month, Can Do Canines Assistance Dogs welcomed a group of donors to join them for a tour at the Jackson Correctional Facility in Wisconsin to visit their 'T-liter' of Labrador Retriever puppies. The #PattersonFoundation proudly sponsored the T-liter at their birth, and has been a partner of Can Do Canines for several years. "I had the opportunity to not only witness a training session with these dogs, but also spend quality time with the inmate handlers to learn about the value of this program, both for them and for the organization," says program officer, Allie Krug, who attended the tour in October. "It's a win-win. Can Do Canines has willing-and-able individuals who can dedicate their time to the effort of training future assistance dogs. And inmates benefit by learning new skills and the profound responsibility of caring for another being." To date, the Patterson Foundation has invested over $100,000 in prison programs for assistance dog organizations across the country.

Today, and every day, we are filled with gratitude for all those who have served in the United States military. This past summer, we launched the Military Alliance of Patterson, an affinity group created to provide a support system specifically for Patterson veterans. The group uplifts the military community by connecting them with other veterans through a network rooted in service, leadership and resilience. The group is made up not only of military veterans, but also military spouses and families. Thank you to our Patterson veterans who continue to share their stories with us, offering a deeply personal perspective on what it means to serve your country, and thank you again to all veterans throughout our nation. 🇺🇸 #VeteransDay #Gratitude
