"When a farmer hands us their grain, they’re handing us their livelihood." 🌱   Harvest season—our busiest time of year @ Perdue AgriBusiness—runs from September through early December. Every product we make, from the feed that supports our poultry to the oils used in much-loved products, starts in the fields with the grain and oilseed operations. Each year, roughly 145,000 truckloads of grain move through our facilities to be crushed, refined, stored, and fed directly to our chickens—or transported through our deep-water terminal in Chesapeake, Virginia, one of only two U.S. crush plants with export capability. At the heart of our process are our dedicated associates. Their commitment to quality, teamwork, and stewardship ensures we are able to serve our farm partners reliably and safely. Together we'll continue Raising a Better Future for our customers, communities, and farm families. 

Across our communities, families are facing real challenges—from rising costs to ongoing food insecurity. In these moments, access to nutritious protein can make all the difference.  Leading into the Thanksgiving holiday, our teams across the company came together to help thousands of children, seniors, and families enjoy high-quality protein meals at their holiday tables. We have always believed that being part of a community means showing up for one another. That belief guides our long-standing commitment to nourishing our neighbors through generous protein donations, especially when support matters most. It also reflects our Delivering Hope to Our Neighbors® outreach to improve quality of life and build strong communities. Delivering Hope for the Holidays! On Monday, we were honored to partner with Sunnybrook Hope Center and Food Bank of Siouxland, Inc. for a Holiday Mobile Pantry distribution in Sioux City, Iowa. In the span of just an hour and a half, associate volunteers from our Sioux City facility loaded hundreds of meal boxes containing holiday staples and put high-quality Perdue protein directly into the hands of more than 300 families in need at a critical time. Our local partnerships are fundamental to Perdue’s Delivering Hope To Our Neighbors® outreach to improve quality of life and build strong communities. Together, we’ll continue to make a difference where we live and work, through the holidays—and beyond. 

Bringing a Little Holiday Magic to the Table 🎄🍗   At Perdue Farms, we believe great food brings people together — especially during the holidays. This season, we had some fun imagining what it would really take to fuel Christmas Eve’s hardest-working team: Santa and his crew.   When we crunched the North Pole numbers, we discovered that traveling the globe in one night would require more than 20 tons of protein — the equivalent of nearly 10 million chicken nuggets. And while we can’t ship that many to the North Pole (yet 😉), we can spread a little joy here at home.   Food & Wine offered an exclusive first look at our new limited-edition Holiday Chicken Nuggets, available only through a consumer giveaway and shaped like candy canes, stockings, Christmas trees, and gingerbread friends. Most days, Perdue Transportation Inc. truck drivers travel great distances to deliver products to customers. But, on a recent Saturday, 15 Perdue drivers delivered smiles to Special Olympics Delaware athletes and their families during the 23rd edition of the Truck Convoy, a unique police-escorted caravan of tractor trailers and other trucks on a scenic 29-mile route in central Delaware. The truck convoy is a spirited celebration of the trucking industry and its support of Special Olympics. We recognize the importance of supporting our communities through partnerships like this that showcase the heart and soul of our drivers. It reflects how we are Delivering Hope to Our Neighbors® to improve quality of life and build strong communities. Delivering Hope, One Meal at a Time. This week, we joined the Harry K Foundation and Food Bank of Delaware for their “Thanksgiving for All” initiative — a long-standing collaboration to help alleviate food insecurity across the Eastern Shore. At the Food Bank’s Milford location, our associates helped pack and load more than 1,000 meal boxes filled with shelf-stable items and a PERDUE® chicken roaster, ensuring families have a nutritious and comforting meal this holiday season. Our continued support is part of Delivering Hope To Our Neighbors®, Perdue’s ongoing efforts to improve quality of life and strengthen the communities where we live, work, and raise our families.
