The Municipality of Gurabo is advancing two new exciting urban revitalization initiatives. The Gurabo Plaza de los Próceres Rehabilitation Project is designed to breathe new life into the heart of El Pueblo de las Escaleras through a comprehensive redesign rooted in the complete streets concept. With a construction investment of $4,689,061.82 dollars, the project enhances public spaces, expands green areas through reforestation, and introduces new community gazebos to strengthen local commerce, attract tourism, and promote social interaction.   In addition, with an investment of approximately $1.6 million, the Remodelación de aceras en Plaza de los Proceres project will upgrade sidewalks, curbs, and gutters throughout the Próceres Public Plaza area, covering the corridor from Calle Lago to PR 189 and from Calle Matías González to Calle Juan R Quiñones. The work focuses on improving the existing infrastructure within the current right of way, with no increase in size or capacity. This effort enhances pedestrian mobility, accessibility, and overall safety for the community, representing a meaningful step forward in creating a more connected and resilient Gurabo.   Together, these improvements will create a more accessible and inviting environment that reinforces Gurabo’s character and supports the quality of life of its residents.

Plexos is thrilled to celebrate the groundbreaking of two transformative projects, the Avenida Universidad Revitalization and Henry Klumb Bridge Reconstruction, both launched on November 9, 2025, through the Puerto Rico Department of Housing’s City Revitalization Program (CRP).  The $13.4M Avenida Universidad Project will transform the main gateway to the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) Río Piedras into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly corridor that connects campus and #community, boosting #culture and local #commerce. The $2.2M Henry Klumb Bridge Project will restore a key link between UPR and Brumbaugh Street with modern design, lighting, and landscaping, reviving an architectural landmark and enhancing #mobility and #safety. Both projects strengthen the connection between the university and its surrounding communities. Plexos is proud to help turn these revitalization visions into reality!

Plexos Group was pleased to sponsor and be a part of the 2025 New Mexico Emergency Management Symposium. Held this year at the Inn of the Mountain Gods, a property owned by the Mescalero Apache Tribe, a tribe that Plexos has been honored to support over the past two years in response to wildfire and flood emergencies, this year’s symposium explored the theme “Navigating Change: The Future of Emergency Management,” focusing on collaboration, innovation, and resilience in the face of growing challenges. Plexos’ own Ashley Saulcy delivered remarks during the opening session, highlighting the great work being done across the state of New Mexico in response to disaster impacts, Plexos’ support for Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) and the importance of serving the residents of New Mexico with respect for the state’s unique culture and history. Our Plexos attendee team included Casey Tingle, Katie Johnston, Ashley Saulcy, Andrea Niehaus, Tina Dufrene, #SofiaXimenez, and Jackie Lynn Herrera. #FirePreventionWeek (October 5–11, 2025) is a crucial reminder to prioritize safety and preparedness in our homes and workplaces. Plexos Group, LLC understands the devastating impact fires can have on families and businesses and is committed to supporting prevention efforts and providing recovery services to help communities rebuild and recover. This week, we encourage everyone to review their fire safety plans, test smoke detectors, and practice emergency drills. Together, we can reduce risks and protect our communities.

#Proposal Specialist Jill Avegno joined the Bids and Proposal (B&P) Team from Operations, leveraging her background in #nonprofit management to steadfastly support Plexos' vital community-focused projects. Originally joining Plexos in 2021 through a temporary #emergency response opportunity, Jill's high performance, standards of excellence and in-depth knowledge of Plexos’ business model led to her transition to Proposal Administrator in 2022. Her aptitude for proposal #logistics resulted in rapid growth to Proposal Specialist, making her the obvious choice when a role opened on the B&P Team in 2023. Jill’s love of learning, incredible ability to track and organize voluminous amounts of information, and library-like memory helps Plexos catalog and archive critical documents and keep proposals and teaming arrangements on track. Jill’s keen eye for detail keeps the B&P Team’s work compliant with client requirements, and her congenial #collaborative style allows her to develop and maintain highly successful relationships with Plexos teaming partners. Jill's #creative solutions to challenges and ability to proactively handle logistics make her an indispensable member of the B&P team. We are grateful for Jill's dedication and excited to see what her future at Plexos holds.
