Our Leadership Forum has officially wrapped — and what a powerful session it was! Thank you to Donna Hicks for facilitating a rich discussion on the power of dignity in leadership. We appreciate participants' thoughtful reflections and continued commitment to building cultures where people feel seen, valued, and respected. We'll be sharing a few impressions of today's event. Here is one by Kevin Davis, PSPS co-chair of the Community Connections and Inclusion/JEDI committee.
“Taking responsibility for one's actions affects all three dignity connections... the connection to your own dignity, the connection to the dignity of others, and finally, the connection to the dignity of something greater than yourself” Donna Hicks. Dr. Hicks shared her profound wisdom about Leading with Dignity at today’s PSPS: Philadelphia Society of People & Strategy Leadership Forum at the beautiful The Union League of Philadelphia —Liberty Hill. In sharing her ten essential elements of dignity I took an entire page of notes and picked up on this connection: Accountability equates to Justice Fairness equates to Equity Acceptance equates to Diversity Inclusion equates to Belonging I’m honored to serve as the co-chair of the Community Connections and Inclusion/JEDI committee as a board member. Today’s compelling event starts our important conversation about dignity and how that starts with justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in workplaces. Bravo, Dr. Hicks! Please join us for our PSPS JEDI Forum on 1/28/26. We are wired to feel with others. When we are treated with dignity, we flourish. What inspires you? #whatinspiresme #bestadvice #dignity #kindness #inclusion

The Untapped Power Behind High-Performance Cultures: Dignity What if the key to building resilient, high-performing teams wasn’t about respect but about dignity? At the 2025 PSPS Leadership Forum, Dr. Donna Hicks, renowned Harvard researcher and author of Leading with Dignity, will challenge how we think about human connection and leadership. Discover: 🔹 How violating another’s dignity is often at the root of workplace conflict 🔹 The four everyday indignities people experience at work — often without realizing it 🔹 How to repair dignity violations and rebuild trust 🔹 Practical ways to create a culture of dignity that fuels collaboration, resilience, and psychological safety 🔹 The business case for honoring dignity as a driver of retention, innovation, and engagement When dignity is honored, people bring their best selves to work and the results speak for themselves. 🎟️ Join us November 6 at Union League Liberty Hill where hundreds of HR and business leaders will be in the room exploring how dignity transforms leadership and organizational culture. 👉 Register today: Seats are running out! https://lnkd.in/eWdfK6Tf #Leadership #ConflictResolution #DignityLeadership
