We had the pleasure of hosting the incredible students from Aspire Public Schools Lionel Wilson College Preparatory Academy at the Roofstock office this week for their Coliseum design pitch showcase — and we’re still inspired! Our team had the opportunity to volunteer as advisors, and it was truly energizing to witness the creativity, insight, and passion these students brought to the table. Their Coliseum concepts weren’t just imaginative—they tackled real systemic challenges like redlining, housing inequality, and community disinvestment with bold, practical solutions rooted in empathy and innovation. It was clear these young entrepreneurs had done their homework. From ArcGIS maps to design impact, they came prepared with sharp ideas and powerful stories. Watching them think critically about how space can drive equity was a powerful reminder of how bright the future is.
