Based in Bangor, Maine we coach, and support growth-oriented companies across Maine, playing a key role in their success across the following industries Agriculture companies Aquaculture companies Value-added food companies Food-related technology companies. Scratchpad focuses on growth-oriented companies and selects cohorts that are at similar stages of development. Our team curates a cohort and mentor pool that will benefit one another. Leveraging an evidence-based curriculum inspired by Village Capital – a national organization deeply committed to democratizing entrepreneurship, we bring together participants, connect them with mentors, and engage with the business community. Programming on-site happens in person weekly with a half-day session and regular remote check-ins. We provide a custom designed curriculum to give you the knowledge, connections, and space to support your growth. You will have an opportunity to learn from your cohort and expand your network. In this safe space, you will create a growth plan for your company with guidance from experts, who are committed to your success. Scratchpad alums have raised more than $5M in outside capital, added thousands of customers, created more than 25 jobs as they have increased revenues significantly. You CAN'T do it alone. Our team will guide you through a proven system and make the introductions necessary to actualize your goals

🏆 🥇 Singing Pastures, a past participant in the Visionary Leadership Program (previously run in partnership between FocusMaine and Maine Center for Entrepreneurs) and a recipient of a Tastemakers grant (a program run by CEI (Coastal Enterprises, Inc.) in partnership with FocusMaine), won first prize on Season 10 of Greenlight Maine! But, that's not all—they also won the grand prize at this year's Naturally New England Pitch Slam Competition in Rhode Island! 🐖 🌱 Singing Pastures is a food company making pasture-raised pork snack sticks.
