LinkedIn: 🚧 Introducing Students to Construction Careers 🏗️ As part of our ongoing partnership with The Challenge Program, Inc, students and teachers from Brookville High School recently visited our I-80 North Fork Bridges Replacement project, viewing from a local park, located just a few miles from their campus. Being onsite gave students a firsthand look at a major Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) project in action and the scale of infrastructure being built in their own community. It sparked interest and introduced them to the wide range of career opportunities in construction. From safety leaders and field supervisors to engineers and equipment operators, our team shared insights into their roles and the rewarding pay, benefits, and advancement available in the skilled construction trades. These visits are incredibly valuable, providing students with real-world insight into the industry while giving our teams the opportunity to help shape and inspire the next generation of builders. #PeopleProjectPurpose #CareersInConstruction #WeBuiltThis

We’re excited to announce that Fay, S&B USA Construction has been awarded the CSX contract for the Alexandria Fourth Track Project, an important milestone in expanding rail capacity through Northern Virginia.  Over the next two years, our team will construct six miles of new track between Arlington and Alexandria, helping to unlock additional rail capacity, enhance passenger and freight flow, and support the broader Transforming Rail in Virginia (TRV) initiative. Our scope includes new track construction, bridge and retaining wall structures, drainage improvements, and a new maintenance-of-way crossing, critical components of this major infrastructure upgrade. Building on Fay’s ongoing work for CSX and VPRA, we’re honored to be part of one of the region’s most impactful rail improvements and continue our commitment to building safe, efficient, and resilient transportation networks. We appreciate the opportunity to show TribLIVE how our team is precisely executing this incredibly complex bridge project for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission. The effort includes two new 1,645-foot-long, 70-foot-wide bridges, upgrading from two-lane to three-lane structures in each direction, as well as two new interchanges and additional bridges.
