Bringing joy to the season! 🎄✨ Studio W Architects joined J+J Flooring’s Annual Helping Hands event, creating a space-themed Christmas tree for the kids and families at Shriners Children's Hospital. We wrapped up our creation by celebrating with fellow participants at The Collective for the Designer Party, which showcased many creative Christmas tree decorations and heartfelt words from event organizers and Shriners leadership. We are grateful to be part of such a meaningful community tradition!

The Johnson Pool in Roseville, California, has been a beloved community landmark since its construction in 1921. This historic pool recently received a major transformation, bringing new life and expanded amenities to residents of all ages. The Johnson Pool Renovation was completed in two phases, featuring a full facelift as well as an expansion. The project included a replacement of the pool, pool deck, pool equipment and a new pool mechanical building. Site improvements upgraded paths of travel, ensuring the facility is welcoming and accessible for everyone. The pool house family restroom received a full remodel and expansion, creating additional space for an office/lifeguard room, break room, first aid area, storage and a pool deck exit. A custom mural and thoughtfully designed pool equipment pay homage to Roseville’s rich railroad history, celebrating the City’s heritage while providing a modern, functional space for the community.

Studio W Architects is excited to share a look into our recent project with CALISTOGA JOINT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, the new Calistoga Junior-Senior High School STEM Building. This single-story, permanent facility is designed to support STEM curricula in a modern and purposeful way. Blending seamlessly with the existing campus, the building features science and engineering labs, each with access to an outdoor learning area, as well as a centrally located workroom. To encourage flexibility and collaboration, glass roll-up doors connect indoor and outdoor learning spaces, creating a seamless transition between the two. A unifying roof form drapes over the labs and outdoor environments, with framed openings that provide shade and visual openness. This project creates a vibrant, flexible and hands-on learning environment that supports student curiosity, innovation and growth.
