At the American Association of Credit Union Leagues Winter Conference, our President, Samantha A.M. Beeler, delivered a powerful update on the future of league collaboration, regulatory alignment, and the ongoing charter comparison process. She emphasized that the credit union system isn’t waiting for momentum: “The industry is here. We’re ready. We’re supportive.” Because while others talk, credit unions quietly do the work behind the scenes to prepare for new congressional and administrative landscapes. Samantha highlighted the importance of speaking openly about how our system functions, noting that if we don’t explain it, others won’t understand its strength. She also reaffirmed that advocacy begins long before Washington; it starts at home. Looking ahead, she urged the movement to think boldly about its biggest challenges, including the future of the credit union tax status, reminding attendees that the next fight shouldn’t just be another win—it should be the moment we end the conversation for good. She closed with a call that embodies the cooperative model: “If you want to be involved, raise your hand. We need you all. We are better when we are together.”

Hear from our Foundation Director, Bobbi Grady, and ServeComm Founder, Mike O’Brien, as they share how their partnership brought our new Disaster Relief Vehicle to life! A huge thank you to our sponsors, Corporate America Credit Union and Corporate One Federal Credit Union, whose support made this project possible. We can’t wait to get this vehicle out into the community. It will help us deliver support on-the-ground assistance directly to credit union employees, members, and families after storms, floods, and other emergencies. This project embodies our credit union putting compassion into action and strengthening our movement’s ability to care for people when they need it most. #CUDifference

In honor of Giving Tuesday, we're spotlighting the incredible generosity of Dade County Federal Credit Union (DCFCU). 💙 Last week, DCFCU brought together local leaders, Caribbean representatives, and community partners for a $25,000 check presentation to support families in Jamaica recovering from Hurricane Melissa. This donation will support displaced families, students, and community rebuilding efforts across Jamaica — a meaningful reminder of the credit union mission in action: People Helping People. #GivingTuesday #CUDifference
