Froedtert ThedaCare is taking another bold step in advancing medical education and improving access to care. We’re thrilled to announce the development of on-campus housing for medical residents as part of ThedaCare’s Graduate Medical Education (GME) program. Located adjacent to ThedaCare Medical Center-Neenah, this new housing will provide a supportive environment for residents and fellows—helping them focus on what matters most: caring for patients and families. Why this matters: ✅ Strengthens physician training in Northeast and Central Wisconsin ✅ Supports work-life balance and peer networking ✅ Addresses the growing need for physicians in our communities With construction already underway, the first phase of townhouses is expected to be complete by summer 2026, just in time to welcome our first internal medicine residents on July 1, 2026. This investment reflects our commitment to training the next generation of physicians and ensuring high-quality care for years to come. We were grateful to welcome the team from Lowney's Landscaping Center to the ThedaCare Regional Cancer Center for a special check presentation. Their Spring Into Giving event, held in May 2025, resulted in a generous contribution to the ThedaCare Family of Foundations Cancer Survivorship Fund. This support helps provide nutrition and exercise programs, caregiver and support groups, therapy services, and other resources that guide survivors and their families as they move from treatment toward healing. This act of giving has a deeply personal origin for the Lowney’s team. In the same month, they experienced two life-changing moments: a crew member survived a severe accident thanks to quick action and a ThedaStar flight, and owner Joe Lowney’s father passed away. Those experiences inspired the team to support others navigating serious illness and to lift up the community in a meaningful way We are deeply thankful for their generosity and for the heart behind it. Pictured left to right: Lisa Kellnhauser (Cancer Center Support Services Specialist), Todd Sutton (Annual Giving Coordinator, ThedaCare Family of Foundations), Leigh McNamara (Registered Nurse Cancer Navigator), Joe Lowney (Owner), Daisy Boehm (Advanced Practice Clinician, Medical Oncology), Jeremy Stryhn (Lowney’s Maintenance Department Manager), Cam Dunn (Mowing Property Manager), Bailey Webb (Bed Care Lead). Thank you to the Lowney’s team for supporting local cancer survivors and the programs that lift them up.

Froedtert ThedaCare is committed to making care more accessible, especially for those who prefer the comfort and convenience of receiving services at home. Beginning January 1, 2026, Holy Family Home Health Care will integrate with ThedaCare At Home—part of our continued effort to serve communities as one unified health system. This transition will expand access to home health, hospice and palliative care services for people across Manitowoc, Sheboygan and Kewaunee counties. With the demand for home-based care rising—particularly among older adults—this integration supports our vision of providing personalized, compassionate care where it’s needed most. "We have an excellent, supportive therapy team, both within our direct department, as well as our larger team. It is an awesome environment to learn and grow in your practice, including great support for continued education. I enjoy being able to use this knowledge to provide great therapy care for small, local communities, where you truly feel connected to your patients." Ready to make a meaningful difference every day? ThedaCare Regional Medical Center–Neenah and ThedaCare Medical Center–Waupaca are proud to partner with the Wisconsin Hospital Association Foundation to help launch HOSA–Future Health Professionals chapters at Neenah and Waupaca High Schools. This collaboration reflects our commitment to developing the next generation of health care professionals and supporting a strong, sustainable workforce for the future. HOSA is an international student organization that promotes health care career pathways and helps students build leadership skills, participate in competitive events and gain hands-on experience in real-world care settings. Together, ThedaCare–Neenah, ThedaCare–Waupaca and the WHA Foundation have contributed funding to support advisor stipends, student travel, registration fees, membership dues and more — helping remove barriers so students can fully participate. We’re excited to invest in these future leaders and strengthen our communities for years to come.
We’re excited to continue supporting Wisconsin’s future health care leaders through the WHA Foundation’s partnership with Wisconsin HOSA Investing in today’s students helps strengthen tomorrow’s workforce, and we’re proud to play a part in that growth. 👏 For a list of the hospitals that have contributed and the schools awarded grants for the 2025-2026 school year, click here! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eri2kMVY

"I have been with ThedaCare for approximately 2 years, have 35 years in my physical therapy career and have worked at only 2 other companies during this time. I am fortunate to have been added to the ThedaCare family. ThedaCare fosters great employees, a great working environment and clearly encourages a good work/home life balance. Working for them is not a job, it's coming together as a community to make people's lives better, for our patients, and each other. We support each other, we are our best resources, we want each other, and our patients to succeed. This is what family does. This is the ThedaCare atmosphere, and I am grateful to be a part of it."
