About us

TowerPinkster is a firm of architects and engineers committed to design integrity, quality, and environmental responsibility. Our doors opened in 1953 with just six people and now we have more than 200 of the best employees in in the Midwest. We turn possibilities into realities. Most of our clients are in commercial, healthcare, K-12 education, higher education, and government. No two days are the same around our offices, but our philosophy about what we do and how we do it remains constant. We believe we can never do less than our best...for every client, every time. We believe that as an architecture and engineering firm, our commitment to sustainability can be no less than complete. Proof of this is that our Kalamazoo office is our industry’s first LEED-certified building in Michigan, and our Grand Rapids office earned LEED-Platinum - at the time the only A/E firm in the state to achieve this. TowerPinkster uses imagination, innovation, and integration to create bold, transforming results while providing superior service and project management. We are committed to the creative design of exceptional, high-performance, sustainable environments for our clients and our communities. We create an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration within our multi-disciplinary team to develop holistic solutions and successful designs.

Today's the day! CSM Group is a proud sponsor of the Michigan Mass Timber Update 2025, a key gathering for anyone invested in the future of mass timber construction. A special highlight: our very own Brian Beaver will be on a panel discussing our Kalamazoo Country Club project, including how mass timber design and installation played a defining role in elevating the build. We're looking forward to the conversation and the momentum this event brings. #CSMProjectViews

  • Congratulations to Sam Martin and Collin Boeskool who both passed their PE exams! This exam is an intensive, eight-hour test requiring hundreds of hours of disciplined study and is considered one of the most demanding professional licensure exams. It reflects the responsibility of licensed engineers and serves as a respected testament to an engineer’s expertise, dedication, and commitment to public welfare. Congratulations on this achievement!

  • Big changes are happening along the Grand River! The Grand Rapids Public Museum is undergoing a major transformation, and we’re excited to share a behind-the-scenes look at the progress. This renewal boosts floodplain resilience, improves campus flow, and reconnects the site to the river, making it a more accessible and inclusive community destination. We partnered with Lord Cultural Resources and VIRIDIS Design Group for the project, and the redesign focuses on universal access, water-smart design, and community-centered placemaking. Sustainable features, such as rainwater harvesting, green roofs, native plantings, and permeable surfaces, turn the campus into a resilient landmark and learning resource. Watch the construction update video to see the transformation happen!

  • LOVE to see the exciting projects in Grand Rapids, and we are excitedly anticipating the completion of the 1st phase of the Grand Rapids Public Museum renovation work!
